Today we looked at how shapes have been used by famous artists in their art pieces. We explored some of the works of Piet Mondrian. Another artist who who used shapes in his art was Wassily Kandinsky. Kandinsky was born on December 16th 1866 in Russia. Music helped him create his paintings. He especially loved opera. He produced some very abstract art
work. Kandinsky used lots of colour and and shapes in his work. Look at the pictures below to see some of his art pieces. Then, pick one piece and post a comment to this post describing:
